Jacques Fath liked to wear eccentric accessories or clothing that he bought during his travels, contrasting with the rest of his classic wardrobe, including a classic Loden coat that he had brought from Austria*: Excerpt from the book Jacques Fath by Valérie Guillaume, Paris Mus'es Editions. He also used this special, warm, and strong wool fabric to transform feminine dresses into a classic Loden coat.

Fragrance: Vetiver is a root with a very intense and strong woody character that is considered a symbol of persistence for perfumes, the same as this unique Loden sensation that Jacques Fath used. And I have a childhood memory of my grandfather wearing his Loden, both prickly and... protective. So I have recreated this contrasting feeling, thanks to spices, particularly fresh ginger, which has a citrus note that can enhance the intensity of vetiver. Luca Maffei
